Ranchi. Preparations for the 34th National Games (NG) in Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad are likely to be over by the end of next month.

The NG core committee, which met yesterday, decided to invite tender to complete the remaining work before the tournament.

Sources today said preparations for stadium and other infrastructures, which were likely to be handed over to authorities in the next two months, had entered the last stage.

The committee also decided to float tenders for equipment needed for the event, sources added.

The NG, which was earlier postponed for more than four times, was likely to commence on November 9.
